At Torque Wellness – we use yoga as a way to recover and reinvigorate your body and mind through our Restorative Breathwork and Yin/Reiki classes.
RESTORATIVE BREATH AND STRETCH (heated)
Unwind at the end of a long day. This slow-moving class targets connective tissue through seated and lying postures held for long periods of time with the use of blocks and straps. Yin compliments the more active classes by increasing circulation in the joints and improving flexibility.
This practice is perfect for all levels and those recovering from injury.
YIN & REIKI (heated)
Blending the physical healing of Yin with the mental/emotional healing of Reiki energy, you will be guided through breath, sound, incense, candles and essential oils to deliver a therapeutic, meditative yoga class (if you are allergic to any of these, please notify instructor).
Each pose is held for a longer period of time to create space in the muscle fascia, and deep tissues of the body – allowing release of old stagnant energy and tension.
During the Reiki portion of the class, while you lay down and relax, you’ll allow your mind to travel where it needs to, as you rest deeper to completely soften or even fall asleep.
This opens the healing channels and enter the physical, energetic and mental body, allowing Reiki energy to come to you with the power of healing – providing you with strength, health, and guidance in your every day life.
Please note: the healer does not use their own energy. They connect and channel the energy of the universe, while sending it to you through powerful symbols and light touch.
